What’s happening dear customers today you're going to learn the difference between iron and rubber plates and to use each type of plates on your bar.

whats the biggest difference, here we are going to tell you about three big differences between iron and rubber;

                                                                             1- Iron and Rubber plates are different seizes in diameter

                                                                             To start, the biggest difference between rubber and iron plates is the size difference in diameter,

                                                                                    all rubber bumper plates are the same diameter across all weights.

                                                                                2- Their width and density

                                                                              The second difference between iron and rubber plates is that iron plates tend to be denser and thinner on the bar

                                                                                                and thus tend to be preferred by power lifters who are moving massive weights.

                                                            Rubber plates are made out of rubber which is less dense material so the tend to be thicker on the bar.

                                                            3- The rubber is much quieter when in use and dropped

                                                                               The third difference between rubber and iron plates is that rubber plates are much quieter on the bar,

                                 rubber plates is designed to be dropped so is not gonna be a great idea to drop these iron plates on the floor because they might damage the bar.

                                                                 Summary~ (Iron vs Rubber plates)

                                                                              Whether you should use a rubber plate or cast iron plate depends on what you’re using it for.

                                                                  Rubber bumper plates are designed for Olympic lifting, where dumping the bar from height is common.

                                                                                               They don’t break in half and they won’t damage your gym floor.

                                                                Cast iron plates are versatile and can be used for pretty much anything – but they can break if you drop them.
